That's life

X had applied for an important document. She was told that she would get it in 2 weeks of time. She eagerly went to the mail room every day to check if she got it. To her dismay 2 weeks passed by soon. She did not receive it at the end of 2 weeks. She waited for a week more. It was in vein. She went to the office and checked the status. She was told that it was mailed 1 month back and they were not sure what happened to the document. She was shattered and immediately asked for a duplicate. This time she waited till 1 week and again went to the mail room daily. She was literally vexed and did not know what next to do. One day, she came little late from her work and found the document on the table. It was a profound joyous feeling for her. That was the day she stopped going to the mail room. She forgot the mental agony that was there and also forgot whom all she approached to solve the mystery. That’s life.

He completed his bachelors and was hunting for a job. The hunt was not all that easy. Anywhere he went, there was a tough competition. He was sure he gave his best everywhere. He did enough preparation each and every time he went for an interview.
The disappointment grew stronger and the confidence was getting lower. But his efforts remained same. It was one final day when his dream came true. He succeeded amidst a tough competition. He pinched himself to realize if it was reality. He was so happy to start with his work. As days went by he found better opportunities. His career did not stop there. That’s life.

X was scared what is she going to do when her roommate is going to vacate. She was scared to stay alone. It was almost very sure that she was to take necessary actions to face when it comes to that point. It was not all that easy to surrender everything in a week’s time. She was enquiring so many people if they could accommodate her stay. Some were kind enough to accommodate her. X was bit convinced that some how she can manage until the time that she is going to stay in that place. Her roommate called her one evening that her stay is going to be extended. X was quite relieved and informed those who gave her confidence. What seemed like a storm passed by like a tide. That’s life.

P.S: The idea of the post was to present the short stories collectively like "the legend" Balachander's Jennal
